Corporate Housing Leasing Sales Manager

Attache Corporate Housing is seeking our newest joyful teammate in the role of Leasing Sales Manager for a hybrid role in and out of the office in the DMV area The Leasing Sales Manager is focused on keeping our joyfully furnished monthly properties rented! This is done by connecting potential renters with properties in our inventory to match their housing needs. The position requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable with sales, familiar with the DC Metro area/DC neighborhoods, and capable of providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate possesses both an attention to detail and an agency/adaptability to resolve unforeseen circumstances. 

  • Core Duties: Driving the leasing process, property showings, client engagement, and customer service.
  • Time Allocation: Breakdown of time spent on sales/reservations, communication, administration/reporting, and process improvement.
  • Required Skills: Knowledge of the DC Metro area, strong communication, problem-solving, sales experience, and CRM software proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the leasing process through detailed processes and excellent customer service. 
  • Create and improve leasing steps to grow occupancy rates and joyful customers.
  • Perform property showings to potential renters and reporting feedback.
  • Engage with clients to customize solutions around their housing needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and quick-thinking, problem-solving skills.

Leasing and Reservations - (Time Allocation 55%)

  • Respond to rental inquiries and provide a list of available properties via email.
  • Answer phone calls and capture essential points to understand guests’ needs.
  • Conduct and coordinate property showings upon request.
  • Verify tenant documentation to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Communicate with guests and owners, answering questions promptly.
  • Report on current and future vacancy rates and take steps to improve occupancy rates.
  • Reduce response time and resolution time for general questions and inquiries.

Coordination and Communication - (Time Allocation 20%)

  • Update internal teams on inquiries and coordinate details for property showings and rental applications.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal staff, contractors, owners, guests, and potential customers.
  • Resolve issues and create solutions in a calm, friendly, and kind manner.
  • Maintain a distribution list of partners and 3rd party housing providers, ensuring a clear understanding of rental leads and inquiry status.
  • Provide follow-up and recap of results to internal staff and owners.
  • Deliver customer-focused solutions promptly.

Organization, Administration & Reporting - (Time Allocation 10%)

  • Update and maintain the reservations and leasing database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of guest and owner information.
  • Participate in daily huddles, weekly one-on-ones with a manager, and weekly team meetings.
  • Provide accurately weekly reports and share feedback to ensure joyful customer service.
  • Implement cost-saving measures whenever possible.

Process Improvement - (Time Allocation 15%)

  • Identify and solve issues as they arise with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

  • Get playful with creative brainstorming to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Ask questions, foresee problems, seek advice, provide solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking and creative problem solving.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Detailed knowledge of the DC Metro area and DC neighborhoods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in sales, preferably in real estate or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability, yup. Adaptability.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Preference for someone currently living close-in the DMV area.
