Primary Responsibilities Installation : Install and assemble piping systems, including but not limited to water, steam, gas, and air lines. Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance. Blueprint Reading : Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Welding and Fabrication : Utilize welding techniques to join pipes and fittings, ensuring structural integrity and leak prevention. Troubleshooting : Diagnose issues in piping systems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Team Collaboration : Work closely with other tradespeople, including electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently. Minimum Requirements Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial pipefitting or a related field Pump and Piping Experience : Proven experience with pump rebuilds and piping installations.
