Position: Human Resources Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Manager to build and implement HR processes from the ground up. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional ready to shape the HR function in a dynamic startup setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Ohio labor laws, OSHA, FLSA, and other relevant regulations.
• Create and manage company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Maintain and enhance HRIS and employee record systems.
• Collaborate with department heads across various functions to support HR needs.

Growth Opportunities:

• Lead HR strategy as the company scales.
• Shape company culture and build HR infrastructure from the ground up.
• Participate in the leadership team driving company expansion.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3–7+ years of HR generalist or HR manager experience.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law compliance and HR best practices.
• Experience in multi-departmental environments, particularly with blue-collar teams.
• Strong skills in process creation, training, and documentation.
• Experience in startup or rapid-growth environments is a plus.
• Comfortable working in both office and operational settings.
