Job Summary -

Client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Sleep Study Technician to support home-based sleep research studies. This is a field-based position that involves preparing equipment, visiting participants’ homes, conducting study procedures including EEG setup, collecting biological samples, and ensuring the integrity of the data collected.

Key Responsibilities-

• Calibrate and initialize actigraphy and other monitoring devices per protocol.
• Travel to participants’ homes to perform study visits.
• Conduct full EEG (electroencephalogram) setup and place all necessary body sensors accurately and securely.
• Provide instruction for, and assist with, saliva sample collection.
• Retrieve and download data from monitoring devices post-study.
• Sanitize and maintain all sleep study equipment following established protocols.
• Retrieve equipment from participants’ homes following study completion.
• Maintain accurate records of all visits, procedures performed, and any issues encountered.

Required Skill -

• Prior experience in a clinical, research
• Basic understanding of human physiology, particularly in sleep or neurological function

Preferred Skills -

• Prior EEG setup or sleep technician experience (PSG, EEG, actigraphy, etc.)
• Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) or RPSGT certification is a plus.
• Experience in human subjects research or clinical trials.
