Bilingual (Eng/Spa) Mortgage Loan Originator Team Leader

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage lending, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in originating loans and managing a team.

Responsibilities (team Leader):

• Lead a team of mortgage loan originators to achieve individual and team production goals.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to help them succeed in their roles.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase loan production and meet business objectives.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular performance feedback and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

Responsibilities (loan originator)

• Originate real estate mortgage loans in all the areas where the entity is allowed to do business.
• Develop business relationships with mortgage brokers
• Support the onboarding of Business partners, referral agents, and mortgage brokers
• Work to achieve individual production goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, with a proven track record of success in loan origination.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
• Ability to negotiate internally with the related areas to have the work done
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and loan origination software.
