Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer

Location: On-site in Midtown Manhattan 2-3 days/week

Duration: 6 month contract, with likelihood to convert

Client: Top law firm

Job Summary

The Senior Sourcer, Talent Acquisition for Professional Staff is responsible for the identification and attraction of talent across all Professional Staff functions. In addition, this person will have responsibility for performing full-cycle recruiting for critical business staff positions across the US offices as hiring needs warrant. The Senior Sourcer is an integral partner in building talent pipelines, networks, and communities that will help to shape the future of our Professional Staff functions at our client. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sourcing and recruiting and a proven record of successfully implementing sourcing strategies that have led to the hiring of outstanding talent across multiple disciplines. The ability to accurately assess candidates and the desire to provide excellent customer service are critical. This role is hybrid and requires two days onsite in the NYC office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Recruiters, hiring managers and HR team members as appropriate to develop and execute sourcing plans for various business departments, levels and offices
  • Actively build candidate pipelines by implementing creative sourcing strategies for current and future positions
  • Generate and maintain detailed recruitment documentation and notes on candidates in order to maintain regular connection with prospects
  • Remain current on and adhere to Firm personnel policies and applicable employment laws
  • Continually assess sourcing and recruiting trends and implement as appropriate
  • As the need arises, work independently with internal clients to accomplish recruiting goals, including but not limited to maintaining job descriptions, establishing salary ranges, coordinating interview schedules and managing the offer process
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing tools and techniques in order to widen the breadth of talent associated with existing requisitions, future requisitions, and functional skillsets

Skills

  • Extensive experience utilizing a variety of TA sourcing tools and techniques to identify and attract talent across multiple functions
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, Candidate Relationship Management Systems, and additional TA tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with and influence a variety of people
  • Exceptional organizational skills and effective time management; ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines in a pressured environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Experience

  • 5 plus years of relevant experience
  • Recruiting experience at a law firm or professional services organization preferred
  • Experience with workday is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
