Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required. We are seeking a dependable Travel Pharmacy Technician for a contract position at a reputable 150-bed community hospital in Olympia, Washington. This is a great opportunity for technicians with hospital experience who are ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic inpatient environment. Assignment Details: Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts Setting: Inpatient hospital pharmacy Technology: EPIC and Pyxis (experience preferred) Job Responsibilities: Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding under supervision Restock and manage automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis) Answer incoming pharmacy calls and triage appropriately Deliver medications to various hospital units Support pharmacists and other staff in daily operations to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution Qualifications: Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician license required Recent hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems a major plus Experience with sterile compounding is a significant advantage Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dedicated pharmacy team while gaining valuable experience in a high-acuity setting.
