Director/Senior Managing Consultant, Services Business Development-Global Fintech & B2B Service Providers

Mastercard Services provides cutting-edge services in Business & Market Intelligence, Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our sales team handles end-to-end solutions for a diverse customer base including large tech companies, e-commerce, media, fintechs, bin sponsors, processors, and program managers.

As a member of our Digital Partner & Fintech Business Development team, you will be at the forefront of generating excitement and demand for our solutions. We value individuals with consultative sales experience, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, comfort navigating complex sales processes, and the ability to build and maintain successful client relationships.

The Role

As Senior Managing Consultant, you will drive growth with key customers by managing a portfolio of strategic clients, building on existing relationships, and initiating new ones to generate and qualify opportunities, promoting Mastercard Services solutions to drive sales.

To be successful, the ideal candidate will:

  • Build strong working relationships with clients, ensuring effective collaboration and engagement while driving revenue growth and expanding buying centers.
  • Demonstrate strong networking skills and confidence in initiating contact with new prospects to generate and qualify leads.
  • Maintain a customer-first attitude, uncover customer needs beyond explicit requests, and craft innovative customer strategies.
  • Own the sales process from prospecting to executing contracts, ensuring seamless sales cycles and driving urgency with clients.
  • Achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and projections, delivering outstanding personal performance.
  • Lead pitches, from storyboarding to face-to-face presentations, tailoring materials to audience needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define engagement scope aligned with business and client objectives.
  • Support project/customer success teams in problem-solving and structuring work plans.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations with key insights and recommendations.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Proactively acquire new knowledge and skills, contributing to organizational intellectual capital.

All About You

  • Significant B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, data & analytics, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Strong networking abilities and influence across stakeholder bases.
  • Ability to monetize senior client relationships through empathy, thought leadership, and expertise.
  • Capability to own and drive end-to-end sales processes.
  • Experience managing projects or teams is a plus.
  • Knowledge of consumer and commercial payments market is a plus.
  • High energy, drive, enthusiasm, and commitment.
  • Outstanding multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Purchase Salary Range: 161,000-250,000
