Role Description

Our LiveIntent team seeks an experienced, energetic, and proven Business Development Director to join our Enterprise Brand Direct team. The ideal candidate will have substantial digital media sales and leadership experience, a strong track record of winning new business, and building strategic relationships. You will be responsible for acquiring and closing new brand partners to enhance awareness, exposure, and performance through LiveIntent’s offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with executives and decision-makers, leveraging existing relationships with Fortune 1,000 brands.
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and cold-calling.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities that exceeds sales quotas.
  • Create strategic digital media solutions tailored to clients' long-term needs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Provide feedback on marketplace and client challenges to improve products and create impactful solutions.
  • Represent our brand at industry events, conferences, and meetings, articulating our value proposition.
  • Forecast deals accurately using Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Client Development and Marketing.
  • Identify and develop unique selling propositions based on market and competitor insights.

Qualifications

Candidates should have over 8 years of enterprise digital media sales experience, with a consultative, value-based selling approach. Experience with email service providers and working in fast-growing environments is a plus. Key skills include:

  • Strong sales and lead qualification skills, especially with executive clients.
  • Hands-on experience with ad tech such as DSPs, SSPs, CDPs, DMPs, and measurement vendors.
  • Deep experience working directly with brands, not relying solely on third-party DSPs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex legal and procurement processes.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable attitude.

Salary Range

The compensation range is $200,000 to $300,000, depending on experience and location.
